FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:PFH RACING UNVEILS NEW IDENTITY, MARKING A NEW ERA (Indianapolis, IN) May 6, 2026 - Today, the organization formerly known as SFHR Development officially announced it's new name: PFH Racing (Peterman Fisher Hartman Racing), signaling an exciting new chapter in the team's history. The rebrand reflects the team's commitment to the growth of their on-track product offerings as well as a long term vision for driver development in the sport. The new identity was developed following the addition of team owners, Chad and Emily Peterman, of Indianapolis, IN. "This is more than just a name change - it's a reflection of who we are and where we are going," said Chad Peterman, President of Peterman Brothers. "Growing up on the south side of Indianapolis, it was always my dream to be a part of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. This is just the start to our ambitions for the team to build and be back again at the Indianapolis 500." The new name will be accompanied by updated branding, including the new logo, colors and uniforms. All of which will be unveiled at the USF2000 races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 8th and 9th, during the Sonsio Grand Prix. "We are proud of our history that began as SFR back in 2008 and has continued on to leave a race winning legacy in it's path. Andy and I have known the Peterman family for decades and we are beyond excited to welcome their incredible business acumen that will be a vital part of the growth that we'll need to be on racing's largest stage again," says Sarah Fisher O'Gara, founder and co-owner of PFH Racing. "Both Chad and Emily's sharpened business backgrounds have already helped us plan ahead with a really exciting strategy that will go beyond winning on track." PFH Racing is committed to nurturing the next generation of racing talent and believes that building on a generation grown from Indiana roots, will be an exciting and rewarding challenge that will be relatable to many of the fans in the sport. Fans can look forward to seeing PFHR in action during all of May as they take on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 8th and 9th in the USF2000 series, the Lucas Oil Raceway Park on May 22nd and the Anderson Speedway on May 23rd for the Little 500. ABOUT CHAD PETERMAN: Chad Peterman is the President and CEO of Peterman Brothers. Since taking the reins in 2015, Chad’s work has been met with acclaim from within his industry and earned him national recognition. In 1986, Chad’s father started Peterman Heating & Cooling in Beech Grove, IN. When Chad joined his father in 2011, the business had grown from a one-man operation to 21 employees serving customers in the Indianapolis area. Today, Chad and his brother have taken their father’s business to the next level. Peterman Brothers now has over 450 employees across eleven locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. She specializes in connecting brands with innovative sports marketing opportunities that align with their business objectives and create meaningful fan engagement.
Since 2016, Emily has been working for Purdue Sports Properties, a division of Learfield, the leading sports marketing and media company in collegiate athletics. Prior to Learfield, Emily spent time moving around the country working for sports representation and athlete management agencies.
A native of Indianapolis, Peterman studied communications at Ball State University and Purdue. Emily and her husband, Chad, have two children, Blake and Julian. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time at the lake in Southern Indiana, and she is an avid sports fan.
